ICYMI... Key Highlights of the Week

Let's kick things off in the best possible way, with some highlights from our amazing HUG family:

• Boss Beauties absolutely crushed the Ms Marvel red carpet AND the merch game this week with the release of their first collection. We want all the things!

• Super exciting news over at Stardust Generation who announced their highly anticipated mint date for June 14. We all need warm, retro, stardust vibes in our lives so check out their Twitter for all your need-to-know deets.

• groupHUG Korea team had a huge week, announcing partnerships with two of the largest and most successful gaming companies in South Korea - Netmarble and Neowiz. Their mint date is fast approaching on June 15/16!

• 8SIAN officially announced their partnership with billion dollar fashion company Cider and spoke at the Women in Tech Global Summit in Paris, where she also caught up with other members of the HUG family, including Talia from Eyes of Fashion. Represent ladies!

Building the inclusiverse has been our core mission from Day 1 and for us that means making sure the principles of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, Belonging, and Accessibility (DEIBA) guide everything we do.

Understanding who we are as a community allows us to understand the work that is ahead of us, and so, in collaboration with our DEIBA advisors and our community, we launched HUG's 1st DEIBA survey.

Support our fundraiser to #EndGunViolence

This week we came together as a community to turn grief and anger into positive action. We have teamed up with Endaoment and artists from our HUG community to launch a fundraiser, with 100% of proceeds going to Everytown for Gun Safety.

So far over 3.4 ETH has been raised and continues to grow! You can show support by purchasing one of these beautiful pieces on OpenSea, or simply RTing the tweet below, which shares more detail about each piece in the collection.

HUG celebrates Pride!

Happy PRIDE!!! 🌈🥳 For the whole month of June, we are celebrating LGBTQIA+ artists, creators and collectors in Web3, with fun events, important discussions and fundraisers supporting the community.

• Pride Gallery exhibition. HUG’s ‘Bear Hugging Brigade’ is hosting a gallery exhibition and fundraiser to showcase the incredible talent of LGBTQIA+ artists in Web3. 70% of proceeds will go directly to the artists, and the remainder will be donated to Outright Action International. The exhibition kicks off June 13 - follow our Twitter for details!

• Power Of Women x HUG Pride Art Challenge. Creators are invited to submit original artworks exploring one or more of the following themes: Expression & Identity; Love is Love; Chosen Family. Check out the amazing entries by searching the #POWPride hashtag on Twitter!

• And coming up this week, HUG will have its own float in the Decentraland Pride Parade, so slip on something fabulous and join us in the metaverse!
