You might think that after a week in the ‘city that never sleeps’ we would need a break… but no! Web3 keeps moving, even in a slow market! So let's check in with our HUG friends and family and get you up to date on all the highlights of the week.

ICYMI... Updates from our HUG family

• Is there any team in Web3 more committed to radical generosity in Web3 than Curious Addys? This week they announced free engineering resources and developer support for female-led NFT projects and we are so grateful to them for setting an example for us all.

• This week we finally got to immerse ourselves in the highly anticipated evolution of the Sacred Skulls brand and mission which has been developed with the guidance of our amazing groupHUG accelerator program. You can experience their intriguing new lore across all their channels, and if you haven't seen the sneak peeks of their next collection, be sure to check it out.

• Our groupHUG Korea partners Ruler of the Land are also evolving, announcing an incredibly talented lead artist for their next phase, Yoon Seung Gi. His beautiful and delicate manwha art is a new aesthetic for the project, and we couldn't be more excited to see his interpretation of ROTL!

• Eyes of Fashion announced a new collab this week with jewelry brand 'Alma My Love' and amidst all the NFT.NYC chaos, also launched their fully customisable IRL and digital fashion collection with Anywear Fashion!

• We got an exciting update on the next phase for groupHUGgers Infinity Labs and their 'mergenomics' mechanic that they have been building towards since launch in 2021, bringing their innovative tech and art together. Jump in their Discord for more details.

• And did you catch this teaser from Boss Beauties? BB superheroes? Power gems??? If we know anything about Boss Beauties,  it's definitely something!

As for us at HUG...

• We celebrated the winner of the Power of Women x HUG PRIDE art competition, Moxy Starr for her spectacular piece 'Scorned Heaven', selected by the HUG community. Congratulations to all the amazing entrants and finalists!

• Our co-founder Debbie will be sharing her Web3 expertise as an instructor at Realm Academy. HUG holders are eligible for a 50% discount off the Realm academy course, so make sure you check out the Discord for details.

• Our Head Curator Lorr sprang into immediate action in the wake of the overturning of Roe v Wade, and coordinated a abortion access fundraiser. The HUG community raised over 3.78 ETH in just a couple of days, 100% of which will go directly to grassroots organisations through Computer Cowgirls and Endaoment.

• After months building behind the scenes with the incredible support of our community curators,  the beta launch of our groundbreaking NFT discovery platform HUGhub is here! Community members will get the first chance to check it all out from July 5. This is a game changer for Web3 and we can’t wait to show you!

• A little birdie told us that HUG is hiring! Keep an eye on our Twitter for two full time positions being advertised this week.
