We’re taking our next step towards growing into a marketplace for artists to sell digital and physical goods… by launching our very first community-curated Print Shop!

We have 10 different Open Calls for different kinds of mediums and themes to suit every kind of artist. Artists will be selected from a community-curated shortlist with help from some very special guest curators we’ve invited such as Claire Silver for AI Art, Amber Vittoria for Abstract Art, and Mumbot for Spooky Art!

Who should sell their art in HUG’s Print Shop?

• Artists who are new to selling physical prints of their digital artwork

• Artists who don’t want to or have time to handle operational logistics for sourcing printers, shipping, payment, and customer support

• Artists who want to benefit from HUG’s various marketing efforts such as broadcasting to our audience of 2M, being amplified by guest curators, and investing in paid ads.

Participating artists will benefit from competitive licensing rates for physical artwork, keeping 100% of digital (NFT) sales, all while retaining full credit and control of their own IP with the flexibility to sell that same artwork elsewhere.

HUG is here to handle all the messy logistics and provide options and opportunities, so artists and art lovers can focus on what matters: the art.

HUG is excited to be teaming up with Cozomo de’ Medici to showcase 6 artists and their artworks alongside iconic pieces from The Medici Collection on the digital billboards at the Shibuya Crossing in Tokyo. For the uninitiated, Shibuya Crossing is the world’s busiest pedestrian crossing and averages 2.5 million people daily!

Cozomo de’ Medici will be looking for and personally selecting 6 pieces of artwork that will be displayed along the following pieces from The Medici Collection:

You are welcome to submit any artwork of your choice, but pieces that are inspired by, or serve as companion works to any of the above 6 artworks will likely have a higher chance of getting curated.
